It gets bigger without getting worse.

We take a project end to end, from the first conversation to keeping it running afterwards. One team, answerable for all of it. What you get is built to be worked on later: tests that fail before your users do, architecture that grows with the load, and code someone who has never met us can read.

What we build.

Most of it starts on a system that already exists, has to keep running, and has to carry more load next year than it does today. It should also be easier to change when we leave than it was when we arrived.

  1. Customer-facing platforms: onboarding, accounts, payments and statements.
  2. Internal tools: operations consoles, back-office queues and reporting.
  3. APIs and integrations, including bank, card scheme and KYC provider connections.
  4. Migrations off systems nobody wants to touch any more.
  5. Rescue work on builds that stalled half-finished.

If none of those describe your project, tell us anyway. We will say plainly whether we are the right studio for it, and we would rather do that in the first call than in month three.

What you get.

  1. Progress you can seeEvery couple of weeks there is something on a real environment you can open and try. You are never waiting months to find out how it is going.
  2. Tested before it shipsUnit tests on the logic, end-to-end tests on the journeys that cost you money when they break, and both run automatically on every change.
  3. Monitoring and observabilityLogs, metrics, traces and alerts, set up alongside the build rather than after the first outage. When something goes wrong we can see where, usually before your customers tell you.
  4. Everything written downArchitecture decisions, data models, runbooks and the reasoning behind the awkward parts, written as we go rather than reconstructed at the end. Nothing important stays only in someone’s head.
  5. Handed over in your nameWe start on our own infrastructure rather than asking for the keys to yours on day one. At handover the repository, the cloud configuration and the domains move across to you, commit history and all, and nothing is held back.
  6. Support after launchWe agree the support arrangement before launch rather than improvising one after it: what it covers, how quickly we respond, and who you contact. Whoever answers already knows the system.

What goes in before anyone asks for it.

Access control and encryption from the first commit. A rollback plan written before the migration, not during it. A straight answer when a date will not hold. Some of our clients audit us on all of it. Most never will, and it makes no difference to what we do.

Questions, answered.

What we built is ours to fix, including the parts that talk to someone else’s system. Plenty of things go wrong for reasons that are nobody’s fault here: a provider outage, a change made on your side, a third party moving something without telling anyone. When that happens we find the cause and tell you what it is, rather than leaving you to work out which supplier to ring. What we will not do is treat the boundary as somewhere to hide.

Per project, and with your team in mind. If you already have developers, we work in what they can maintain rather than what we happen to like. If you don’t, we choose something well supported that you could hire for later. Either way we explain the trade-off, and we won’t pick something obscure that leaves you dependent on us.

Yes, and most of our work is exactly that. We start by reading the code and the incident history before proposing anything, because the first plan you write about someone else’s system is usually wrong.

You will know what you are paying before we start. We write the scope down and price it against that. Anything added later is priced and agreed before it is built, so the number never moves quietly while the work is underway. Monthly invoices come with a breakdown of where the time went.

All of it, unless you want otherwise. Architecture, design, build, release, the infrastructure it runs on and the monitoring that watches it. Where you have your own people we work alongside them, but we don’t split a project into halves and leave you managing the seam.
